Gilmore Adventure Race

The 2nd Annual Gilmore Adventure Race was held on Sat. Sept. 20th, and I would like to report that it went off without a hitch. This race is hosted by Prescott Arizona BSA Venture Crew 1 every year. The course this year was approx. 23 miles and included Biking, Orienteering, Trekking, Canoeing, Rapelling, a Tyrolean Traverse, and other Mystery events. This race went so well, and was so well received that next years race will be promoted far and wide. Thank you to our major sponsors, Granite Mountain Outfitters, Coca Cola, Osco Drugs, and Albertson's. We also had numerous other contributors that helped with goodie bag stuffers and supplies.
