Hey, Dave, I have to submit WEDALI's race report for the BEST OF.
This is a great example of the genre, with humor, emotion, and great lessons for all racers.

Our spirits were a bit lagging, being passed and wrestling with the boat that ALWAYS wanted to turn right, so Justin thought it would be fun for us to talk like pirates.

Scooter was having none of it, in a bit of agony over an old shoulder injury, and the other teams mostly tried to get away from us asap. However, this didn’t deter Justin, and I joined in with my parrot imitation (which I think is GREAT, but it didn’t draw rave reviews from my teammates)

I think the Royers may have an Editor's Choice pick from me. This feature from the back of the pack makes it clear just how competitive every team is in a race. But moreso, it exemplifies the best in couples communicating well and enjoying themselves.

Just as we got to the CP there they were again…the coed team…they were back! We looked at each other in disbelief. Who are these guys? We felt like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid!!
