Does cold weather affect the integrity of a plastic kayak when it is left outside? I have a 17 foot Perception plastic kayak and I live in Florida and have to leave it outside. I know the sun can warp it and I keep a tarp on it. I was wondering if the cold weather affects the kayak in any way while it sits outside. Any idea?

I haven't ever heard of *cold* weather affecting a kayak. The polyethylene will become a bit stiffer when it's cold, but that won't cause any lasting effects.
